English: The William R. Norton House, which is in a deteriorating condition, was built in 1895 and is located at 2222 W. Washington St. in Phoenix, Az. Norton founded the Sunnyslope subdivision of Phoenix and designed the Carnegie Library, the city’s first library, and the Gila County Courthouse in Globe, Az. Designated as a landmark with Historic Preservation-Landmark (HP-L) overlay zoning Historic Preservation Individually Designated Properties.
