File:Ruined arch Kew 7214.JPG

Original file (3,648 × 2,736 pixels, file size: 3.63 MB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Summary

Description
English: The Ruined Arch, Kew Gardens, England. This was designed as a mock Roman ruin by Sir William Chambers and built in 1759-60. Such follies were then fashionable. However, it originally carried a road across what is now Kew Road, so was not a complete folly at that time.
