List of Pi Lambda Phi chapters
Pi Lambda Phi is international social fraternity.[1] It was founded on March 21, 1895 at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.[2] It merged with Phi Beta Delta on February 1, 1941.[2] It merged with Beta Sigma Tau in 1960 and Beta Sigma Rho in 1972.[3] In the following chapter list, active chapters are indicated in bold and inactive chapters and institutions are in italics.[1][2][3][4]
Pi Lambda Phi assigned names to chapters that were defunct at the time of its mergers with Beta Sigma Rho, Beta Sigma Tau, and Phi Beta Delta. Unless these chapters were reactivated as Pi Lambda Phi chapters, they were excluded from this list. However, they can be found in the articles of the absorbed fraternities.
