Maxim Alexeyevich Gulin (Russian: Максим Алексеевич Гулин; born 16 May 1997, Kopeysk, Chelyabinsk Oblast) is a Russian political figure and a former member of the State Duma.[2]

After graduating from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Gulin worked as a junior regional development manager at the Charitable Foundation for Support of Educational Programs KAPITANY, founded by the leader of the New People party Alexey Nechayev. In February 2021, he was the secretary of the Chelyabinsk branch of the New People. In September 2021, he was elected as deputy of the 8th State Duma for the New People electoral list.[3][4] While serving in the Duma, Gulin served as vice-chair of the committee on education. On 13 March 2023, he resigned from the State Duma in order to take on a new job at the Movement of the First youth organization established the previous year.[2][5]

Sanctions

In December 2022 the EU sanctioned Maksim Gulin in relation to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine.[6]
