Ethan Reyes (January 17, 2008 – July 9, 2022), professionally known as Notti Osama, was an American rapper and songwriter from Harlem, New York. Following the release of "Too Tact" by Sugarhill Ddot in 2022, he garnered widespread recognition and swiftly rose to prominence.[2]

Life and career

Ethan Reyes, was born in Harlem, New York.[3] He was the youngest of six children and the younger brother of DD Osama.[4]

Notti Osama gained popularity with the single "Too Tact" by Sugarhill Ddot featuring DD Osama in 2022.[5] He released "Dead Opps" featuring DD Osama on July 12, 2022.[6] Posthumously, his single "Victory" was released in 2023.[7]

Death

On July 9, 2022, Ethan Reyes was involved in a physical altercation with a 15-year-old individual.[8] The altercation began on the street and continued into a nearby subway station, where Reyes allegedly pushed the individual onto the train tracks.[9] During the incident, Reyes suffered a fatal stab wound to the abdomen. Emergency medical services transported him to Mount Sinai St. Luke's Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.[10]
