Spring Garden Township is one of sixteen townships in Jefferson County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,307 and it contained 649 housing units.[2]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 38.09 square miles (98.7 km2), of which 36.71 square miles (95.1 km2) (or 96.38%) is land and 1.38 square miles (3.6 km2) (or 3.62%) is water.[2] The township is centered at 38°10'N 88°53'W (38.174,-88.877). It is traversed north–south by Interstate Route 57 and State Route 37.
