Most communist anarchists reject Marxist teleology; also, most anarchists do not think that anarchy is "inevitable", although most, quite naturally, are optimistic about the possibility of having an anarchist society someday, or otherwise they would probably not be anarchists. -- bpt 23:21 May 3, 2003 (UTC)
- Actually, many anarchists do see at least anarchism as being inevitable, eventually; but quite a few probably disagree, or have no particular opinion about the inevitability of anarchism, particularly of permanent, global anarchism. The Marx reference is what bothered me, since Marx did not just think that communism is inevitable, but also that it has to be preceded by totalitarian state capitalism, and then that the State would somehow "wither away". I still think that part needs to be revised. -- bpt 23:32 May 3, 2003 (UTC)
