My name is Mike, and I'm enrolled in the MS-Biotechnology program at Johns Hopkins University. I've currently completed half of the program and am enrolled in Molecular Biology this semester. I've got a business background, and received a BS in business from Towson University and an MBA from Loyola College in Maryland. I've been working in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry for over 15 years, but decided to go back to school at Johns Hopkins to bolster my scientific understanding. I'm currently a consultant with a company that has expertise in biodefense/pandemic response, biomanufacturing strategy and drug delivery devices; and provides high level business development, program management and strategic consulting services. I reside in MD, am married, and have 2 girls (ages 2 and 6). In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, hanging out with friends, playing golf and watching sports.
