I am a mathematician. My current research interests lie in algebraic number theory and arithmetic algebraic geometry. However, most of my edits so far have had relatively little to do with my research specialities.
I myself would like to be able to use Wik.ipedia.Pro as a first reference for mathematics. At the moment this is sometimes possible and sometimes not: it depends very much on the article. But the average worth of a Wik.ipedia.Pro math article is steadily increasing over time. Less than two years ago I routinely warned students not to take Wik.ipedia.Pro math articles with any degree of seriousness. Now I can and do tell them to at least try Wik.ipedia.Pro first. This improvement is exciting and has motivated me to get involved with the project.
Here is a list of articles that I have mostly or completely rewritten. Of course I do not claim they are beyond further improvement: suggestions are most welcome.
- Absolute convergence
- Alexandroff extension
- Bézout domain
- Bolzano-Weierstrass theorem
- Dedekind domain
- Locally connected space
- Perfect space
- Principal ideal ring
- Separable space
- Supersingular prime
- Tychonoff's theorem
Here is a list of articles to which I have contributed substantially:
