Talk:ŽS series 812

Merge with HŽ series 7221

The multiple units described in this article were bought by Yugoslav Railways as JŽ 812, and after the breakup of Yugoslavia, they have simply been divided between the new Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian railway companies. There are no differences between ŽS 812, HŽ 7221 and SŽ 812 beside the numbering and some paintwork. I propose these articles be merged at an unspecified location (perhaps 'JŽ series 812' or 'ŽS series 812' since they have been withdrawn long ago in Croatia and Slovenia). Note that other ex-Yugoslav rolling stock operating in different successor states are not issued separate articles (examples JŽ 412/ŽS 412/MŽ 412, JŽ 642/SŽ 642/HŽ 2041...) --Upwinxp (talk) 15:05, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support, a key problem being the name ... ŽS series 812 is the better developed and probably therefore the better target. An alternative approach would be to merge both to JŽ 812. Klbrain (talk) 11:31, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
