Comments

  • Well I'm sorry this article has had to wait so long for /GA2 as /GA1 ended with something very close to a quickfail despite not being anywhere close to the criteria for that action. The review found a small number of very minor points and mistakenly asked for sources for the lead, which very properly relied on the sources in the article body: they were (and are) all in order. The minor points listed were all addressed promptly. The article is (therefore) in an extremely tidy state; I would I think have passed it more or less immediately had I been the /GA1 reviewer, but certainly once all the noted items had been addressed (at least I agree with the other reviewer on that point).

Images

  • The only image is an election map (handsome and well-designed, with a vignette detail for the most populous area, Stornoway), made by an editor and licensed CC-by-SA.
  • In lieu of other imagery is a full set of 19 tables, all laid out systematically and with admirable clarity.

Sources

  • The sources for this sort of article are necessarily a combination of local news and a substantial quantity of local election notices, each applying to the relevant subsection of the article. These are all in order: obviously the election notices are primary, but they are the inevitable place of record for election data, essential for an article of this type.

Summary

I am happy to pass this well-constructed and robustly-cited article, which has now been through two reviews, and only sorry that such a long delay has been involved. Chiswick Chap (talk) 19:24, 10 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
