Talk:Cache (retailer)

Deletion

The company does not appear notable. Even the claim "popularizing high end fashion styles like Armani, and Versace in the United States" is something that comes from the company itself; Cache made the claim that Robinson popularized them. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and this website does not appear to back it up sufficiently anyway. It is entirely a dubious statement. The article is also not written in a very encyclopedic tone and has no credible sources to back up the claims. Maxx-♥ talk and coffee ☕ 17:18, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've declined the speedy deletion as Cache had about 200 stores which is sufficient to clear the very low bar of A7. Note that this not an endorsement that the chain is notable, only that speedy deletion is not appropriate. I also agree that the claim of popularizing high end fashion is rather dubious, and flagged it as such. -- Whpq (talk) 17:32, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough, thank you. In that case, I am going to rewrite a few things. Maxx-♥ talk and coffee ☕ 18:07, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Title needs correction

Cache is styled with an accent aigu (é) on the final "e", as shown in the photo in the article. I corrected this in the article, but I cannot correct the title, as far as I know.

I really hope this article isn't deleted. I see that its deletion was recommended, but Wik.ipedia.Pro is one of the few sources to research defunct businesses and their histories, particularly retailers. 174.173.20.104 (talk) 21:56, 23 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
