Talk:Carrickmore railway station (County Donegal)

History

I doubt there was ever very much of a fully fledged station at this rather isolated location (which I take to be 54.8970,-7.4552 -- shown on old maps as Carrickmore Crossing) and suspect that in the period when trains did stop here it was because of the one-time existence of a ferry crossing of the River Foyle here. Would appreciate learning of the existence of any sources confirming (or denying) these conjectures. -- Picapica (talk) 19:23, 29 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
