Honours discrepancy
Although almost universally reported across other media, and on on her own cv, as being a recipient of the Order of Australia Medal in 1988, as ScottDavis has shown in creating this page, per the official government sources, she was made a member, not given a medal. I'm not sure how to treat this or whether to mention it in the article, but for now just mentioning it on the talk page. (I did try emailing the Women's Register, but it appears that they have closed up shop for the moment. I might email one of the sources, and will follow up here if I have any updates.) - Yes, I intended to note that here too, but must have been sidetracked. Thanks for adding it. It would be interesting to see how it was reported in 1988. --Scott Davis Talk 03:06, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- Good thinking. I just had a very quick look on Trove and it's certainly listed as member in the Government Gazette and a Canberra newspaper. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 04:58, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
