The article says: "It was mandated by MediaCrypt..." Can anyone explain what the word "mandated" means in this context? If MediaCrypt were a governmental body, I could understand. However, it sounds as if maybe "designed" or "sponsored" is what is really meant here. Riordanmr (talk) 16:12, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

@Riordanmr: I read that as well and I have no idea. I have removed it. Besides, it seems that MediaCrypt has been defunct for many years now. -- intgr [talk] 04:41, 2 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
