Naming

@StrikersFan: I've reverted the move for now as I'm not convinced by the change to A'Herne. This only seems to have started appearing fairly recently in Australian media, so I'm not sure where this comes from, but the majority of sources would refer to Aherne. Evans acquired the name from marrying his wife, whose own Facebook profile uses Aherne. Kosack (talk) 12:04, 18 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Kosack: His own Linkedin profile lists it as A'Herne, as does this announcement of his position at the Brisbane Strikers as far back as 2014.

  • The announcement may do, but there is a plethora of sources before that which use Aherne, dating back as far as 2003 when he was married. I saw the LinkedIn profile, so it may need an apostrophe if it is official, but the overwhelming majority of sources I can see use Aherne. I'll enquire to see if anyone has access to more of the official records sites, which should cast more light on it. Kosack (talk) 06:57, 19 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
