Map is wrong
This map shows Crimea as part of Russia which it is not. It’s officially part ofUkraine. 2001:1C00:190D:5800:75D3:429A:13F4:F4B5 (talk) 02:07, 11 February 2022 (UTC)
- Defactoly part of Russia, but internationally recognised as part of Ukraine. Illchy (talk) 07:11, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
- Unrecognised borders have no place on a map like this. According to the internal law Crimea is Ukrainian territory, currently under Russian occupation. 89.177.29.131 (talk) 11:00, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
- @89.177.29.131 , agreed. If someone wants to communicate in the map that Russia currently occupies and claims the peninsula, it should have gray hash lines over the yellow to indicate that its internationally recognized status differs from the rest of the territory that IS internationally recognized as Russian. 141.156.49.61 (talk) 19:26, 7 August 2024 (UTC)
- The old administrative divisions e.g. for Moscow are used. If someone wishes to replace the map with one to indicate disputed areas, this is fine, but please do not use the one with outdated administrative divisions. Mellk (talk) 19:31, 7 August 2024 (UTC)

Recent events
There is no discussion here of recent events, meaning the Ukranian incursion into the Kursk oblast. This could be added to the article with a banner indicating currently unfolding event, and then when it is over keep the information about what happened in a section 3j2j1j (talk) 15:11, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
- Yes, this is needed. Daniel.Cardenas (talk) 16:38, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
