Alkaloid
I think that it'd be useful (esp. for non-scientist readers) to define "alkaloid" in some manner. I realize that one can not wikilink alkaloid in the lead sentence, given that it is part of the article's title. How about adding in the 4th sentence: "Lolines are alkaloids, organic compounds containing basic nitrogen atoms. They are chemically defined by ..." - Hello NinetyNineFennelSeeds. Thanks for the suggestion—I've made the change accordingly. The definition of "alkaloid" in itself is bit of a thorny issue (as one can glean from the alkaloid talk page), but linking it this way seems the way to go. Many thanks!
