Foundation of the present-day RC Diocese
As we know, the medieval diocese became Protestant by the Reformation and has been existing as a diocese of the moderately Protestant Church of Ireland, since then. Therefore, the Roman Catholic Church founded a knew Diocese of Dromore for its members in this Region.
