- @AntonSamuel: The sources in the article all refer to it as Eghvard. --Ahecht (TALK
PAGE) 01:37, 12 January 2021 (UTC) - @Ahecht: That's most likely a transliteration error, and was probably the reason for the article being mislabeled in the first place, "Ե/ե" is usually "e" in Armenian, but word-initially it is "ye" [1]. The article name of larger Yeghvard town (also Եղվարդ in Armenian) is labeled correctly, and "Yeghvard" is also by far the common name when using a Google search test (also when adding "Syunik" to the search): Yeghvard: 39,400 Eghvard: 4,750 You can also hear the name pronounced as "Yeghvard" here: [2] AntonSamuel (talk) 09:07, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
- **Support** - this transliteration mistake to English is common unfortunately. It should be Yeghvard in English. --RaffiKojian (talk) 06:27, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
