TfD nomination of Template:Plantagenets

There seems to be something wrong with this template's application to other pages that contain it. You'll notice that in the template, the only person who doesn't have an article is Elizabeth of Lancaster. However, if you look at a few pages in the group, listed below, more links than that are red. The destination articles do exist, and are not mislinked, but apparently direct to the edit page of the article in question -- as if the article didn't exist yet.

Isn't this odd? The template system isn't manual, after all; shouldn't it be identical everywhere? Or were the faulty pages generated some time ago and not updated? Most importantly, how is this fixed?

Edward III Edward, Prince of Wales Richard II Catherine of Lancaster Edward, Duke of York Henry the Young King Geoffrey, Duke of Brittany Joan of England, Queen of Sicily Alphonso, Earl of Chester Joan of England

The large group I noticed dropped was the 2nd through 5th sons of Edward III, but some drop as few as one, often Thomas, 1st Earl of Norfolk.

I can't replicate the problem, but I purged the cache. Hopefully that will fix it. Titoxd(?!? - ) 03:44, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
So you see every link except Elizabeth of Lancaster as blue in the pages I linked? I'm still seeing redlinks, even when I reload the pages. -- Minivet 16:31, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
After writing the above, on some advice, I made a null edit, which seemed to fix the problem. -- Minivet 16:45, 18 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Is it appropriate to list King of Jerusalem as one of the titles? The Angevin kings of Jerusalem were cousins of the English kings but no English Plantagenet ever ruled there. Adam Bishop (talk) 11:24, 5 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think its reasonably well connected so as to list it, based on Fulk, the grandfather of Henry II. Since Henry was the senior descendent of Fulk and there is a lot of cross over between First House of Anjou and the Plantagenets. - True as Blue (talk) 16:10, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Colors

You can't see the 'show' button. Could that be made a more contrasting color? I can't seem to find where to change that. Thanks. DavidRF (talk) 00:16, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Horrible

I don't care what the edit summary says about non-compatibility, the new version is god-awful. I heave never seen a more gawdy eyesore!. What's that? REVERT DBD 00:19, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A featured article review for kings article showed that the old, bulky version is not compatible with FAs and that it must be a bar at the bottom. Do not revert necessary developments which effects every article it is on. FAs don't pass with the old version. - A Flying Heart (talk) 11:22, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I come out of inactivity to say this: The template must be changed to more standard colors. It clashes with every other navbox in WP. I regret to say that I don't have the time to do it myself. -- I. Pankonin (t·c) 21:12, 27 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fix transclusions

Since the template is now horizontal and not vertical, you need to go through and fix how its transcluded in articles. See Philippa Plantagenet, 5th Countess of Ulster for an example of it being in the wrong place. Here is another: Geoffrey II, Duke of Brittany. DavidRF (talk) 06:57, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
