The "Unfinished"

I moved the B minor down to the "incomplete works" section. I'll grant that it's less incomplete than the others there, in that no editorial intervention is required to perform the complete movements: but then you could argue that the E major is really complete, in that all the editor has to do is finish orchestrating the score, and there's no need to compose new music as in the D major symphony sketches. Brian Newbould expresses it like this: "Schubert's Symphony No. 8...is not so much an unfinished work as a finished half-work." (Schubert and the Symphony, p. 158). Double sharp (talk) 08:05, 18 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
