Hello, yes, you could argue it contains useful informations proving the importance of the show, in the introduction (that is not part of the interview itself). Feel free to mention it on the AfD page. Best,-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 09:29, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry and thank you

I have left a message on my own talk page. I am sorry for seeming to be offensive (I did not mean to be - just wondering why it was added and was worried about it being there as a reference). Thank you for adding references and for voting for my article on "The Desert Song" to be kept. I appreciate it very much. As I mentioned on my talk page, I do have some other references now - however, I do not know how to add them to a 'reflist'. All the best. Figaro (talk)

Hello, Figaro, and thank you for your messages. My turn to apologise, as I can see now that my message was a bit harsh. Thank you for your input and work on opera. Best, -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 14:35, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. All the best. Figaro (talk)

I have just noticed that my article, "The Desert Song", has been voted to keep. I am delighted about this and wanted to say thank you for your part in this happening. I will always remember your kindness in helping with this. All the best always. Figaro (talk)

Happy it ended well! Thank you. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 10:15, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. Would it be possible, please, to help me once again. I notice that there is now a 'notification' on the article, calling for full citations (presumably of my references) saying that I have bare URLs. Could you please help me with these, because I don't know what to do to fix up this problem. Thank you. I would very much appreciate your help with this. I am sorry to worrying you yet again. All the best. Figaro (talk)

Hello, yes, I'll do it later. Not a big problem. Best,-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 12:30, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I have added the information to my references, which is hopefully what is needed, in brackets. I am very grateful for your help yet again. All the best. Figaro (talk)

Thank you for formatting my references. I could not have managed without your help and I am very grateful for what you have done for me. All the best. Figaro (talk)

Thank you also for all of the extra work you have done on the article - you have been working very hard. Everything looks wonderful now and I am delighted. All the best, always. Figaro (talk)

I would especially like to thank you for all of your invaluable help in making improvements to the article. Without your hard work and help, I could not have managed. I am greatly in your debt. All the best. Figaro (talk)

Thank you!-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 08:51, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

Is Draft:Sardar Satya notable? While he does have roles in Aa Dinagalu, Madipu and Viduthalai Part 1, I have to do some original research to find the names of his other roles. He won an award for Gundragovi. DareshMohan (talk) 05:17, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, the award would seem significant to me and have him meet ANYBIO (although I was recently told that I "didn’t understand the different classes of awards" (:D) and some users will demand ’something like’ an Oscar, which is clearly a radical and exaggerated interpretation (that seems culturally-biased on top of that) of the guideline)... The coverage in The Hindu is a good indicator of notability. But you’re right, I could not check the significance of all his roles (at least one is significant, with the award, and the one in Kanneri seems to be so too, but the film has no page on EnWP); maybe it is enough for WP: NACTOR. If you can identify one more clearly noted role, it would be safer.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 08:51, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Like you said, wait for more of his films with named roles to release. DareshMohan (talk) 16:36, 30 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Set Index

Hey Hey! Thanks for contributing to the discussion for the Xfd on the film franchise. While I don't expect you to redraft an entire article to showcase it to me, do you have any film examples of a set index page that you could provide as an example maybe of what the article could be like? I want to see your point of view on it, but I'm just not sure what it looks like. No rush obviously! :) Andrzejbanas (talk) 01:21, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Imperium_(film_series) comes to mind. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 07:47, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Gotcha. That's what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. I tried browsing some other set index pages (this type of page is completely new to me until you brought it up on the previous deletion discussion. So thanks for teaching me something new.) I'm guessing that for Set Index, we'd probably just have links to the first two films? I don't think that TV show entry is going to hold any gravity from the sources I've seen and been provided. I'm looking at the set index rules, and I suppose Three Men and a Little Lady and Three Men and a Baby have similar enough names, but wouldn't it be easy enough to just get to the second film from the first films page? I'm not entirely against your idea, so I'm glad you brought it up a second time, even if I don't see it becoming the popular conclusion with this Xfd discussion. Andrzejbanas (talk) 16:19, 8 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, in theory, the pages should have similar (Three Men and) or identical names and cover similar topic (films; or here, even more restricted, films derived from the same original story) and the rest (the TV series) can go in a see Also section (unless a non-official name exists, such as Three Men and a Baby (TV)?). Sure, links on pages allow to navigate from one page to another, but it's not the first thing you see; and if you add the original French film, the years, cast/crew and a few notes and maybe some prose (some set index pages have a lot of text; a rapid description to differentiate them, in the present case), it's a clear way to present things that could otherwise be confusing. I see those pages as navigation helpers, a type of pages between disambiguation page (although the page about them say that they're not disambiguation pages) and the infamous outlines or very restricted lists; they allow to keep things simple and give a rapid overview to readers who have no time, or do not know exactly what they're looking for, or do not have a clue about the topic. (Also, it keeps track of pages history.) Remains the issue of the title of the page...Three Men and a Baby (film series)? -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 02:14, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hey hey. Thanks for the detailed response. While I'm not against that, I don't see much that wouldn't already just be regurgitating material from either film article (cast and crew returning, etc.), the set index page says to have things that are of a "about a set of items of a specific type that also share the same (or similar) name." While the sequel definitely has a similar name. I'm not a huge fan of unofficial names being used unless there is some real hard sources setting it as a popular name for something. While I was thinking there could be a list of remakes, most are unofficial and the original French film doesn't have a similar name (as far as I can tell). While I do appreciate it in assisting readers to find what they are searching for, even typing in "tom sellick baby movie" into google does show both titles so I don't think a setindex here just splitting up two or potentially three things is going to add much in this specific situation. That said, I could be missing out on this entirely. If you or any interested editor would create a draft article for this content, I'd be happy to help. Andrzejbanas (talk) 18:16, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notable?

Draft:Shama Sanjay? DareshMohan (talk) 17:16, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, from looking at the page only, I would say no. Minor award and only one production she had a role in has a page...sorry.-My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 18:00, 10 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What is the protocol, if two articles I created are deemed not notable (see User_talk:Kailash29792#Lack_of_sources) based on the Indian cinema task force's declaration that Behindwoods, Indiaglitz and Filmibeat are unreliable. DareshMohan (talk) 02:44, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Answering the why question

Do you guys have a safe space? Just wondering cause I feel insecure about editing especially when someone finds out (i.e. family/friend). Also, when someone asks what I do in my free time, I blatantly lie bc if I tell them what I do, there is a followup of why I do it and I honestly don't know other than the fact that it is stress revealing and fun. Since I try to hide the fact, I usually can't make too large edits. @Manick22: DareshMohan (talk) 06:47, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello DareshMohan. Yes, I do. I’m not sure what I can tell you. But if it becomes too stressful, maybe à break is needed? I myself wonder at times what I should reply to your question! Hiding things from your friends or family is, in my opinion, not necessarily ”bad” but it seems to show there’s something that needs to be addressed, as a part of you seems to be thinking this might be seen as an issue. And maybe there’s a bit of truth in that... or say you use the site to study/learn, which is true. I’ll contribute less myself, because I am unsure about why too! and given recent ’trends” in domains I usually contribute in. Last time, I suggested you should make your own film blog...and I could suggest it again! Anyway, avoid stress, it’s not good! Best, -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 07:54, 15 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Collab request

While I am against translating the Malay pages (since it is unsourced [1]), I am for an article for Tragedi Oktober, see [2] . General Google search [3]. I have at least ten pages like [4] @Kailash29792: how do you make it highlight the article that it is in. DareshMohan (talk) 10:24, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You can't highlight via Google Books, only Google News Archive. And if you hover over the desired article and find a blue box. --Kailash29792 (talk) 10:30, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

FYI about your signature

I noticed that the colours used in your signature have quite low contrast – please see the guidelines at WP:SIG and MOS:ONWHITE for suggestions. Cheers, Cremastratalkc 12:26, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
